Depends on the mood.
Lately been using garlic powder.
Lasts longer, and I don't have ot go out for cloves all the time.
(And get odd looks as if asking "doesn't garlic hurt vampires?"..)
I use garlic powder, too. I've used it for years. When I make garlic bread, I use butter, Italian herbs, and garlic powder. Yummy! When it comes out of the oven, it is excellent!
I bake fresh garlic in the oven at 325 for 30 minutes, then mash it. Tastes great in mashed potatoes also.
