Well, if not young in age, you are young in life experiences having children that young. You'll be gaining a lot more of those in the coming years especially when you kids get into their teens.

If, as you say, you feel that government (through the executive) should be kept small and limited in power, how do you reconcile that with the assertion the safety nets and social programs (beasts of money, control, taxation and power) should be set up and administered by that same government. How can a small government, limited in power, take large taxes and make a big redistribution bureaucracy functional?
Government makes a poor tool to plan outcomes with...it costs so much that the power aggregates to the flow of dollars.
