interesting how your first paragraph disagrees with me and then the second one confirms what i said. we were taught that after ww1 we didnt treat germany nice enough and so that helped bring about the rise of hitler and ww2. thats fine if you think every war you fight should obligate you to now make the country you defeated into a better nation than it was. i dont think so. i also dont think that trying to form a democracy with the rights we have in america guarantees you success in this endeavor. you seem to think the joys of freedom will tranform the major principles of islam which are against freedom and democracy. i guess you have a lot of faith in our ability to change hundreds of years of murder and oppression of a religion that preaches hatred like islam does.
i dont think we have to kill every muslim or convert them to christianity. we do, however, need to confront islam as an enemy to our way of life. we shouldnt try to hide behind the title "war on terror" when its only muslims we are fighting and muslims are united against us.

And your apparent attempt to claim we caused WWII by our actions in an attempt to parallel what is currently happening in the MidEast is a false premise.

Due to the excessive punishments inflicted specifically upon Germany and her allies,peripherally,those nations sunk into depression,which,in turn,set off the world wide depression,which culminated in not only Hitler's and Mussolini's rise to power,but also,commingled with America's gigantic stock BUBBLE,led to the CRASH of 29.
