What pisses New Yorkers off is that Bush et al promised the city $20 billion to rebuild but has delivered about a thirds of that. Much of that aid goes in the form of tax breaks that will be used to build an office building for Bank of America. Hardly the kind of help that we needed (as opposed to the good people of Oregon) who came and spent tourist dollars and rallied in support.

As for the twins, they'd probably be able to get in the door of any place they wanted if they ever stood up and said something meaningful or had beliefs of their own or had any interest other than capitalizing on daddy's higher office to get into cool clubs populated by the likes of whom are despised by their father and his political followers.

And as for all those people who think they did enough for NYC last time: would you really be so callous as to say that you're not going to help your countrymen in NYC next time we get hit (because we're going to be hit a dozen times before they find something worth bombing elsewhere). When Tim McVeigh blew up the Murrah building, New York's firefighters were among the first to jet over, no questions asked, and with no snide comments about it later.

So don't give us any shit just because a pair of elitist girls were snubbed at a bar. Get over it yourself.

Doesn't take away all of these "sophisticated" NYC and LA libs on television (and at those swanky cocktail parties) making jokes about us "stupid" people here in the Red States.
