I have to respectfully disagree.

Honest criticism and the willingness to learn from it is one of the hallmarks of conservatism. Liberalism certainly is not open to honest give and take.

Contrary to what the kool-aid drinkers will tell you, there are some definite differences in thought and ideology between various portions of the conservative hierarchy in this nation.

Many of us have issue with the spending policies of the Administration, and I don't need to even bring up the poor performance in terms of immigration policy.

If the kool-aid drinkers want to bitch and moan and try to paint us as weak for one of our strengths, then let 'em. That's their business.

We need to be about our business.

Just damn.

If you want on the list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...

That's all well and good. What I was trying to get at wasn't substantive criticism -- I was trying to target counter-productive, and public, defeatism.

Proverbally running around on FR screaming "the sky is falling" simply plays right into the hands of our enemies. That isn't the kind of constructive criticism, or disagreement, you are highlighting.
