Yes. That's one of costs of doing business on Free Republic. You have suffer people that just like to argue, sound clever and view this as a chat site rather than serious discussion of issues.
Some people bring their baggage that all religions are equally bad etc and unable to discern differences that matter. Not much different from liberals that collect trivial facts to support their case, get lost in trees and minutae and simply unable to see the forest.
