I have heard Alan Keyes called a carpetbagger because he is from Maryland. But I have not heard Obama called a carpet bagger and this confuses me. Obama was not born in Illinois, he was born in Hawaii. I bet Alan Keyes was born closer to Illinois.
Obama's mother was a white woman from Kansas, his father was African, Keyes' roots lie in slaves brought here from Africa, sold into slavery by Obama's ancestors, yet Obama better represents Illinois blacks.
Obama was raised a Muslim like his father and his step father who moved him it Indonesia where he was raised as a Muslim. Keyes is a Catholic. Obama claims to be Christian, a member of the United Church of Christ, check it out, they are not Baptists.
Obama went to school on the East Coast and returned to Illinois to begin his political career in Chicago in the 1990's. He is a teacher. He worked to get Bill Clinton elected. They say Illinois is a liberal state and Kerry will win here.
I do not know but from where I sit Obama is the carpetbagger, not Alan Keyes.
It should be pulled.
Being against Obama doesn't mean you have to sit back and let intellectually dishonest arguements fly. If anything, it's the duty of every freeper to keep us all honest. That's what integrity and accountability are all about.
because the Church of Christ tends to teach that what Obama believes is murder.
This sentence doesn't make sense.
That's because it was a sentence fragment.
So if you lived in Illinois....who would you vote for?
Will type real slow.....Democrats want the anointed one to be senator without you ever finding out who he really is, what he believes, and if you think another democrat in the senate is going to help Illinois, think again.
I think it is likely he has no religion although he will never admit it. He will also never tell you where he got his drig money or where he was raised. Like Bill Clinton waving his Bible at the reporters, do not ask him what it says inside the cover.
Dishonest? You mean the part that he was raised as a Muslim or the part that he was raised in Indonesia or the part that he has anything in common with Black Americans?
His roots are with Muslim slave owners, that is the truth.
Sigh, I'll type even slower. If you want to see what the man believes, look at how the man votes. But, you'd rather talk about his mother naming him Obama, than how he votes. I can't convey my disgust. I'm done.
I won't take Obama at his word when he says he is a believer in the doctrines of the Church of Christ because the Church of Christ tends to teach that infanticide--which is what Obama believes-- is murder.
sinkspur:"Yep. Don't need no more darkies in powa."
You really are a race-baiting piece of work. It's not suprising that you'd support a Muslim/liberal/communist/democrat over one of the most brilliant Conservatives in the Republican party today. I really don't know why Jim Robinson keeps you around.
Now my head is spinning.
He's not Church of Christ because the CC teaches that infanticide is murder, but he IS Muslim because Islam also teaches that infanticide is murder.
Got it.
Ann Coulter is running for Senate in Illinois?
You are simply mistaken, and you commit the fallacy of illicit conversion. Many Muslims believe in Jihad (which includes the killing of pregnant women).
You seem to define "Islamic countries" as ALL Muslims and Islamic beliefs rather than SOME. This is ilicit conversion.
I don't support Obama.
But you do Keyes no good service if you accept the tactics and arguments that some of his supporters on this thread are using.
Is Obama an "f'n muslime"?
Sure it does.
Correct.
but he IS Muslim because Islam also teaches that infanticide is murder.
Straw Man. I never said what Obama WAS. I said what he was NOT. Now, many Islamic sects and factions believe in Jihad (i.e., murder) as does Obama. That's just something they have in common.
He MAY a Muslim. His belief in murder would be consistent with many sects of Islam, but his belief in murder is not consistent with the Doctrines of te Church of Christ so far as I can tell.
