The only time we'll hear anyone from D.C. addressing the illegal issue is when they announce we've been renamed the United States of Mexico. There's a fox behind every bush...

"This nation is at war." Earlier this year, our President gave a speech, to wit, "We are on a war footing." I have not heard him rescind that status. There are other wars in the pipeline (so to speak), so what is the plan? If we don't like the new United States of Mexifornia, will we be offered relocation to Afghanistan?
Bear with me, I'm just trying to figure this out. It's all happening so fast. LAUSD conducts meetings in Spanish now.

I agree with you and have been saying similar things on other threads...thanks The divisiveness of this immigration issue is causing problems, as many on this website are advocating not voting for Bush, which would be a mistake.

1b) Never stand next to someone who is throwing shit at an armed man.
- Risk's corollary:
- Don't let any of your people strike fear into the hearts of Americans.
Seriously, I don't listen to Savage and I don't know much abot Trancredo. I doubt that I'll be paying much heed to either in the near future. But I still think we should deport every illegal alien on sight. I still think we should put up a barrier on the southern border. I still think we should let Canada know that their immigration laws shall be as strict or stricter than ours - or else we will freeze their assets one at a time. And I think we need to announce to the world that we prefer European commonwealth, NZ, and Aussie immigration, as well as Polish. Let the rest of the world try to remember why it liked us so much for say, about 100 years.
I could care less who agrees with me today. My way will be the law of the land within 20 years or else America will be a smoking heap of third world dung in 50.

I believe all Americans can get along fine. But it does take some effort. Why increase the amount of effort it requires to the breaking point? Focus on improving and solidifying the relationships among all of us now. Don't add fuel to the fires of racial and cultural tension by continuing to replace American culture with every random creed and race under the sun. Once that's done, America won't be the shining city on the hill anymore.
