If Keyes accepts the offer then he'll most likely get the support of most of the GOP. I'd bet that the President will stand beside him on some platform in Illinois at some point during the campaign.Maybe. But I haven't heard the president utter the word "abortion" once during this campaign. Given that this is one of Keyes signature issues, I'm not sure Bush will be so eager to campaign with him. We shall see.

Well I am glad someone else has seen this. I was at both the Kerry and Bush shindigs in Grand Rapids Friday and Monday and neither candidate touch the abortion issue.
To tell you the truth, I wasn't surprised that Bush didn't say anything, but why did the democratic candidate stay mum on his Pro Choice stance?
Anyone?

Yep we shall......
The question is: If Keyes accepts and becomes the GOP nominee in Illinois will you help get him elected or will you fight his chances, thus the GOP?
