I wouldn't advise him to plea to anything, nor to settle in a proposed civil suit. Send a strong message.

KOGO in San Diego just reported that one of the accuser's lawyers said the woman is considering dropping the matter and is discussing it with the prosecutors.

why didn't he just do this from day one?....this is a no win situation for everybody involved, including both parties, the court system, the hospital that released the vic's records and the families....not to mention its given many freepers heart attacks...

only winners are the somewhat wealthier defense attorey's , but that's what they were aiming at, eh?

I heard on the radio that the girl was advised to take the case to civil court where she can bring up all Bryant's past sex history, the way he did hers. The indication was that it would not be a good thing for Bryant.
