Perhaps area FReepers could go there to guard that business and the sign (If it's still up).
You folks just KNOW what might happen when the leftwing kookburgers arrive....
Randall, the pizza shop is right across from the Fleet Center and the entire area is closed down except by convention goers. So it should be alright because it's in a highly secured area unless.......
As for the owner he took off for Canada & vacation for the duration. Hell be back next week.
I hope he starts selling merchandise, like bumper stickers, mugs, etc.
RE 104:
Probably not a bad idea.
On the Howie CARR show Thursday(?) Mr. Pasquale related as to how he had already recieved several lucrative offers for the sign when he is done with it, as it seems to have become a "collectable" of some potential historical significance.
So not only is it "offensive" to the libs, but it might be worth a fair amount of money to someone.
That would make it's survival of this Convention, especially given it's location, somewhat questionable if not heavily guarded 24/7. And I rather doubt that the Mayor or the Chief of Police would mind very much if "something happened to it" some night.
Soon.
By the way, is all this angst about the Uncle Sam birdie really a legitimate moral debate, or a stink-bomb/smoke screen being put up by a few DU trolls who would rather this thread devolve into a flame-a-thon and degenerate to the point where admins have to take it down, as it is embarrassing to said troll's true cause?
Have we seen this strategy employed before? I think we have.
Don't take it personal now, kids; just wondering.
