Also, run both "Adware" and "Spybot" (make sure you update to the lastest version/files). Also run a program called "Windows Cleanup!" and a program called "CWShredder." Lastly, install a program called "SpywareBlaster." All of the programs I've mentioned are available on-line for download as freeware. Just do a Google search and you should be able to locate the download sites. The first four programs purge your system of all the garbage and nasty stuff that builds up to bog down and even take control of your PC. The last program -- Spywareblaster -- does a very good job of keeping the bad stuff from loading into your PC in the first place.

Seems faster and has some autoblocking features.
Doesn't seem to have desktop shortcut creation, though.
