Homes evacuated after trash bin explodes, military ordnance found
The Associated Press - SAVANNAH, Ga.
A trash container exploded Thursday while it was being emptied into a garbage truck, and police evacuated nearby homes after finding a live "military-type" explosive round remained in the truck.
No one was injured in the explosion, which rocked a neighborhood of ramshackle to moderate homes at 6:50 a.m. (snip)

I'll bet the trash man was righteous about complaining about that garbage can load.
Can you imagine if someone compacted a 105mm howitzer shell in a trash truck? ( OUCH)
