"What's wrong with correcting a translation?"

Nothing! My point is that it hasn't been corrected in 40 years, and it is still being defended, tooth and nail, as a "proper" translation.

Instead the "pen" was used to supposedly "excommunicate" the bishops of, and declare "schismatic", the only priestly society, at the time, who refused to offer a Holy Mass with such a defective translation, among many other reasons.

It is just soooooooooo unfair!!!!!! Why it is just enough to make the fevered sink further into schism in their frustration! Isn't there a constitutional right or something for them to get their way????? Who does that old pope think he is to disagree with the schismatic them?

BS: Actually, apropos of another of your posts referencing "Sieg Heil", you may have forgotten in your customary snarling frenzy that Karol Wojtlywa was a civilian engaged in the anti-Nazi underground in Poland well before entering upon his studies for the priesthood, that his girlfriend of that period was summarily executed by the Gestapo on her way home from a theater rehearsal of a group involving him and her, and very long before he became John Paul II. AND, you seem to have ignored or forgotten the rule that he or she who references Nazism first in an argument loses.
