You are correct. Rabbi Kahane and the Kach party worked for a peaceful future for all peoples. They spoke in clear terms, but harmed no one. That was not their intention. Outlawing them was a travesty of justice. Kahane understood that Jews need to keep their country secure for the longterm and said so. That scared some. That he was a proud, unashamed Jew embarrassed some Jews who lack an understanding of the lessons and implications for today of Jewish history and world history.
