YOu are wrong torie... There is no "De Facto" where the law is concerned... You are part of the problem... You should be up in arms and doing something about the issue.. But no you are an enabler... well done...

Do you understand those of us in California who are SICK of paying for the schooling, medical care, food stamps, free breakfasts and lunches, assisted housing, and incarceration of illegal aliens? Doesn't it bother you that our system is being virtually raped of jobs for American blue collar workers? Do you understand our anger at politicians who ignore the majority of their constituents on this matter? Don't you think that immigration laws should be enforced?

If Vicente Fox wants his people to come here, it is Mexico who should pay the bills, not us, and no illegal alien should take a job from an American citizen.

You and I know that the purpose of the sweeps is to persuade the Illegals to return home.
You and I also both know that the carrot to that stick is a legitimate guest worker program which requires applicants to apply from the nation of origin.
So, you and I both also know that the appropriate application of that stick and that carrot is neither cruel nor unusual.
In fact, the stick alone is not cruel nor unusual since the Historically and internationally accepted consequence for Illegal Alien foreign nationals is deportation.

No, they wouldn't need to withdraw the children. Some of the children were born here, so they are citizens and therefore entitled to walk the streets without any form of ID. We have to educate the school-age aliens, too, and the border control does not extend to schools or hospitals, so all children are free to live a relatively "normal life."
