Again, you right on the mark. Since I have been detailed to ICE, there doesn't seem to be any interest in going after illegal aliens. Legacy Customs is DHS, and from what I have seen so far, Customs doesn't want anyhting to with illegal aliens.

The replay of the Hutchison interview just came on. I missed it the first time.
Hutchison is ducking and dissembling. Posturing as though the American people would support the relaxed enforcement of the last month because they want "coordinated enforcement."
Won't answer direct questions as to whether or not he ordered the BP to stop the sweeps.

Won't answer direct questions about SoCal apprehensions, or sanctions against employers. Can't challenge John's assertion that there has been no enforcement against Illegal employers in SoCal. Says he doesn't have that information.

Bush, Rove, Hutchinson, Ridge, Aguirre (the ex-Cuban banker) will dead-end their careers, deader than a doornail, for having something/anything to do with illegal aliens.

Talk about a '3rd rail' over at Customs or in any other agency under this administration.

If Bush catches anybody doing anything effective, like interior sweeps, they'll get crushed like bugs.
