Have you ever tried to think about stuff like the vastness of the universe or how things were initially created? It hurts my head when I try.

All the time. Good exercise for the grey matter. I'm still leaning towards a cyclic universe that is constantly in a state of renewal. This big bang/big crunch stuff sounds as much like Hoodoo as a trumped up Jewish take on a Babylonian creation myth.

Of course that is just my two cents, but even Hawkings recant of total information loss in a black hole points to the possibility of cosmic recycling.
