LOL! Congrats!
Nice try! :-)
You are a fast learner! ;-)
But I'm still on a slow dialup. ;-)
Thanks! But I couldn't have done it without you!
So am I!
And mine is temperamental!
You'll get the hang of it, I promise!
And now, I am going to bed, before I turn into a pumpkin.
Or something worse!
Take care of you, and get some sleep!
:-)
Goodnight!
That was a great looking burger. There are a couple of higher end places that would make a burger that really looked like that, but none would be fast food places.
I sometimes would grind up steak to make a high end burger and that is real good also.
Luckily I just ate or I might have to after talking about food like this.
Good for you, if you are not a major file downloader and are more a reader, you don't need more than a dial up.
I mostly just do email and read stuff on the internet. The only problem is when I have to download articles for papers that I have to write. That tends to take forever.
Articles are text usually, so you should be able to go to EDIT SELECT-ALL COPY and then you can PASTE it into word ***instantly***, saving all the time.
Unless it is in Acrobat of course.
If it's an e-mail download, ask people to send word or text files.
Most of the articles I need are usually .pdf files. :-(
That's what I was afraid of. That kind of sucks.
Are you getting this from school or a business?
Can it be found in a text version alternatively on line?
Have you tried to find out?
I get the articles through school. But if I have too many to download at once I just go to campus to do it. If I have a few, I don't like making special trips to download stuff.
You can just download then at home while watching TV or studying. Should be no big deal.
I imagine at school, the easy thing would be to download the stuff to a thumb drive and to then take it home.
By the way, did you know may colleges are starting to broadcast high speed internet from towers on campus that are servicing at times up to 5 miles away.
The reason is to help students housed near by and perhaps something like that (which would be free to students) might be available to you.
A college by me is attempting to do this now and their students didn't have a clue.
Withing a few years, all campuses will be broadcasting like this I bet.
Good luck with school. I hope you've chosen a field that will give you massive joy and is lucrative.
