Yah. I can't re-size photos, either...it's like half the program is missing.
I used it earlier this year for photos, (which is why I wanted it) and now I can't get it to work. So it's not "operator error."

iPhoto came with the scanner...it's a Mustek, that my brother gave me when he got a new one. Their tech desk is not a lot of help.
It has a simple "Save" on it, that used to work just fine. Now I'm stumped.

I think this will define the man's retirement. Brokejaw's retirement this year must have caused Rather to make plans ahead as soon as NBC announced it. and I bet Rather's plans had little to do with his own retirement.
The Clintoon-induced skeptic in me says someone will drop the ball again and this will be swept under the rug.

To be honest, I still have a functioning old Toshiba, I was given an HP3300 which has it included and being I am the computer guy among my friends, I get all their throw aways to give to those who need them.
You probably know someone with a bubble jet fax.
They on sale went for $0 at times and for the fax function alone you can find them usable even when the ink-jet part is broken.
So, if you want a freebie fax, try to get someones old ink-jet fax, they are everywhere. Ask a friend if you need one.
