"And it is very clear that God expects man to do the same in the administration of earthly justice which is man's responsibility. "

Only insofar as it protects the life and rights of others from infringement.

Roman's 13 was written by Paul and no human is the higher power mentioned by Paul. The higher power God said move on. The powers that be were ordained by God by virtue of creation, they were not created to replace Him. If you wish to represent Him, do as He asked, move on if they don't listen, and give to the poor in His name for His glory, not for the glory of men that use it for purposes of gaining and maintaining their own power.

Joanh was afraid to go as asked, because he figured they'd kill him. Note he was never told to do anything more than speak. Nineva repented at his word, not by the power of coercion he wielded.

And in my first post on this thread, I laid out the case that there were a lot of innocents harmed by the Porn industry. There rights should be protected.

"no human is the higher power mentioned by Paul."

Who else do we pay tribute and customs and duties to? It is clear that Paul is talking about governemnt and earthly authorities.

"The powers that be were ordained by God by virtue of creation, they were not created to replace Him."

Calling for government to do the things that God himself has said that government should do, is not calling for government to replace Him.

If you wish to represent Him, do as He asked, move on if they don't listen, and give to the poor in His name for His glory, not for the glory of men that use it for purposes of gaining and maintaining their own power.

He did ask us to give individually to the poor in His name for His glory, but he also commanded kings and rulers to give to the poor. To the extent that we the people are the rulers of America we should do both, not for the glory or power of individual men, but because He said to.

Jonah was afraid to go as asked, because he figured they'd kill him."

The Bible never says Jonah was afraid for his life. It simply says he fled. But Chapter 4 is very clear that Jonah was angry because the people of Ninevah repented and God had mercy on them. And that's the context of the New Testament verses that say "do not judge".

There are people who would love for Christians to be silent who continually throw that "do not judge" verse in our face. But in the context of scripture as a whole, it cannot mean to forsake all judgement and discernment. For we are told to many times to warn others. It can only mean the kind of judging that Jonah did in Jonah chapter 4.

Actually in rereading it, Jonah actually explains to God that his desire Ninevah not repent was the reason that Jonah fled. Jonah is so mad that Ninevah has avoided God's wrath that he asks God to take his own life. That's clearly not love. THAT is sitting in judgement on people.

Jonah 4:1 But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry. 2 And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil. 3 Therefore now, O LORD, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.
