There are a lot of new "places" on Free Republic that I can't seem to get to. Is there a new site map somewhere that explains what is going on?
About an hour ago, someone posted on the wire service photo of Alexandra Kerry at Cannes:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-backroom/1137230/postsI tried to bump it to "Breaking News" [where I think it ought to be - don't fool yourself into believing for a second that this wasn't staged for the media, just like Al thrusting his tongue down Tipper's throat at the DNC convention or Bill-N-Hill dancing on the beach in all their cellulite glory], but I can't find it on the front page, and it seems to have been moved to something called "Heated Discussion."
I find that more and more, stuff that needs to be seen is getting diverted to places where no one can find it. Has anyone written a good tutorial on "The New & Improved Free Republic and How to Navigate It?"
Inquiring minds wanna know...
If the election boils down to Alexandra Kerry's see-through blouse, then the Republic is in far worse shape than we all ever imagined and we're all DOOMED!

Perhaps your thread got pulled out of BREAKING NEWS because it was more along the lines of BUSTING NEWS.

I wrote a site map thread for Free Republic about a month ago. It was great - it had links to all of the various areas, and useful stuff like that.
Then, I tried to bump it to breaking news and I havn't seen it since.
It's in "Smoky Backroom"
but the question remains, whose daughter would you rather go out with?
Change that to who's daughters and you have my answer.

That just goes to prove my point: What is chat? Where is it?
I've had threads that I was following that were moved to "Chat" and I couldn't find them from scratch if you held a gun to my head.
Heck, if someone moves this thread to "Chat," then:
A) It won't get any more responses, so my question will never get answered, andSo could someone explain what's going on here, or get the web-dudes [John Robinson?] to post a very prominent link on the front page to a site map for all of us site-challenged types out here?B) Even if my question did get answered, I wouldn't know because I can't find "Chat."
