I can't help it, I tear up every time I watch those agents right up against him while he's working the crowd...watch their eyes. No doubt they'd do their duty if it came down to it. Don't you just know how relieved they are when he's outta there.

Back in 1980 I saw Anderson close up. The Secret Service guys formed a shell around him except for where his hands were. They weren't looking at faces, but people's hands. When he lingered in one place, they nudged him along.
Before the eveent, a woman wsa standing next to me and was trying to tell an agent that she knew Anderson. He stared at her so hard through those sunglasses that i thought he was going to burn holes in her.
