And just WHO is the " REAL CONSERVATIVE " , running for president, with a chance of wining ?

There is no reason for the president to change his political afrfiliation, but you just might want to rethink changing the political website you frequent. The owner of this site has stated that FR's goal is to reelect President Bush and vote in and many GOP candidates,as is humanly possible.

Without regard to stances on the issues or political philosophy? Did you suggest JimRob supports lock-step voting practices, and that issues don't matter, and the only thing that does matter is an "R" behind the name?

If that is the case, this forum is a pawn of the Republican Party rather than a check/balance for the conservative movement and those espounding the ideals of the Founding Fathers. I don't want to speak for JimRob, but I doubt that is what he established this site to be.

In fact, to quote the home page: "Free Republic is an online gathering place for independent, grass-roots conservatism on the web."

There very well may be NO "real conservative" with a chance at winning in this election. However, using this election to teach the Republicans a lesson may make that a possibility in the subsequent one. Continuing to blindly pull the lever for Republicans, no matter what the cost to our liberty, will simply enable them to drift further to the left.
