Gosh... I just don't understand why conservatives don't embrace all this deficit spending and all these groovy new social programs.
You better embrace 'em.
Otherwise the dems will get elected, and we'll have deficit spending and new social programs.

Exactly.
What's with all the whining?
We should praise the new entitlement programs.
We should embrace all the new spending.
We should cheer for expansion of the NEA.
Cuz they were promoted by republicans... not them crummy ole democrats.

The sad fact is that the people who swing national elections in this country wouldn't know conservatism if it took its clothes off, painted its buttocks purple and danced naked on top of Dan Rather's desk, screaming "This is conservatism, baby!" Those are the people you need to reach. Do that, and the politicians will take care of themselves. Meantime, you do the best you can.

Here I stand, the goddess of Desire, set men on fire, I have this power, morning noon and night it's drink and dancing, some quick romancing, and then a quick shower, stage door johnnies always surround me, they always hound me, with one request, who can satisfy their lustful habits, I'm not a rabbit! I need some rest!
I'm tired, sick and tired of love, I've had my fill of love, from below and above, tired, tired of being admired, tired of love uninspired, let's face it, I'm tired!
I've been with 1000's of men, again and again, they promise the moon, they always coming and going, going and coming, and always too soon! Right girls?
I'm tired, tired of playing the game, ain't it a crying shame? I'm so tired, God dammit I'm tired!
I'm tired, tired of playing the game, ain't it a crying shame, I'm so tired
[soldiers:] she's tired -she's tired sick and tired of love -give her a break she's had her fill of love -she's not a snake from bellow and above -can't you see she's sick? tired -she's bushed tired of being admired -let her alone tired of love uninspired -get off the phone she's tired -don't you know she's pooped? I've been with 1000's of men, again and again, they sing the same toon, the start with Byron and Shelly, and jump on your belly, and bust your ballon! aye! Tired, tired of playing the game, ain't it a freakin shame, I'm so... let's face it, everything below the waste is kapput!

Otherwise the dems will get elected, and we'll have deficit spending and new social programs. What we would be reading if Algore was doing these things:
If we had a Republican majority in the House, a Republican controlled Senate, and a Republican in the White House none of this would be happenning....

"Say what you will about GW, he has (at least) kept our nation sovereign."
Too bad the USSC hasn't, using international law to back their rulings.

Good enough?
Well I guess that depends on what you're looking for..
If you want...
Federalization of a whole new class of airport union security slugs..
A massive new entitlement program.
Expansion of medicare.
The largest single porkbarrel spending bill in the history of the republic.
Expansion of federal involvement in education.
Expansion of the NEA.
Renewal of anti-gun legislation.
And out of control spending which will enslave our children for generations...
Bush is definitely good enough.
In fact... he's perfect.

What's with all the whining?Whining is a good way of drowning out your message and your concerns. It gives the impression of weakness, it is not convincing, it sounds phony, it's tiresome.....(you can fill in the rest).

Look. No one's telling you to embrace everything the President's done. But use a little common sense.
There are two people who stand a chance of winning
the election - President Bush and the Democratic Nominee.
That's really it. Now, if you sincerely think that the
country will be better off if you pick the Democratic
nominee over the President, well that's what you ought to do. But if you think that the country would be even a little
better off if you pick the President, you owe it to your
country to pick him.
If all this is just about making a point or getting vengeance, you're doing you're doing yourself and
your fellow citizens a disservice.

"Jeff Adams should just vote for a Democrat, it's the same result"
Hmm, let see. Horse sh*t in one hand and cow sh*t in the other, either way you have sh*t.

Many years ago Rush Limbaugh said that we would only know just how conservative the Republicans are when they controlled the House, Senate and the Presidency.
Well, now we know. They are Borrow and Spenders rather than Tax and Spenders. GWB is making a ploy of fiscal responsibility now... only because of the falling poll numbers amongst conservatives. He still needs the votes, but if re-elected I agree with you. He will expand the power of Govt more than any President since LBJ. At least with a DemocRAT president and a Pubbie legislature the 'Tax Collectors for the Welfare State' will exercise some financial discipline. They are unable to say no to a drunken sailor Pubbie in the White house.
I used to buy the argument that if you vote for a 3rd party you are voting for a democrat. Maybe so. It is a difficult choice. But voting for the Socialist-Lites has only brought us more socialism and totalitarianism. For example, no one who believes in conservative values could ever give the Dept of Education even more money to carry out their Communist agenda of Goals2000, School-to-Work or No Child Left Behind. 6 million innocent children on ritalin and rising. Another 5 billion from GWB to carry out their evil agenda.
I haven't decided how to vote yet. Probably for Bush, but I need a stronger clothespin on my nose each 4 years. Does he really think that giving money to the NEA will buy him a single liberal vote?
I no longer have the slightest trust in the national Pubbies. They have betrayed that trust. I've not left the party. The party left me.

Ill be voting conservative, which means most likely the Constitution Party. Im not throwing my vote away; Bush threw it away with everything he and the neo-cons have done for the last four years. You are not throwing your vote away; you are throwing your support to Kerry, Kennedy, Soros ...

I hate all the Bush-haters! They only post their rants, never a balance post. Never give Bush credit for trying to keep the republicans in power, recover from the Clinton recession, fighting two wars to save the Bush-hater's a$$e$. Y'all might just as well go over to DU where you would be more welcome.
