Sorry son (you ARE young, aren't you?).......you are one of the nasties that's not worth the trouble.

You insult others with abandon and imagine yourself to be superior to those who disagree with you.

I'm sorry I posted to you. There are others who agree with your points, but are grown up enough to be civil in the discussion of those points.

I'll stick with discussing things with THEM.

There's a WAR going on, in case you missed it.....and we are WINNING because of this President. BIG picture, sonny.

The Palestinian Authority wants the U.S. to elect a Democrat.

The Hamas wants the U.S. to elect a Democrat.

Iran wants the U.S. to elect a Democrat.

Syria wants the U.S. to elect a Democrat.

China wants the U.S. to elect a Democrat.

North Korea wnts the U.S. to elect a Democrat.

Ten great reasons to re-elect W!

OK -- I hear you. But be careful, we don't need any more cliffhangers like we had in Florida.

That shave was too close for comfort (and, like Texas, its clearly Bush territory).

I am keeping an eye on it. And who knows maybe enough stink will be made to make GWB turn to the right and drop the amnesty. I will be continuously evaluating the situation.

We are in violent agreement he should drop his Amnesty proposal.

I am a conservative, and I believe in conservative principles. I am glad we can agree on this. Bush needs to look to the right and notice the unrest.

Bush won TX by nearly 70% of the vote, despite a determined opposition. Literally 500,000 people could go third party here and he would still win.

Yes, we have a dramatic illegal alien problem even here in Northern Virginia. Besides everything CapitalistEric warned us about in 181, we have drugs, shootouts averaging one a day, sexual assaults, murders, petty theft, overcrowded housing, schools and hospitals.

Its so bad, the Feds are in here chasing down the Salvadoran MS13 gangs on RICO charges.

Its insane.

All of these Hispanics ARE NOT religious, hard working family people.

Multiply that across the country, from Florida along the border to California, and in all urban areas in America, it is unbelievable to me (and to Bill O'Reilly) that we haven't locked down our borders over these issues alone.

Throw in the fact we know potential terrorists also enter the country via these routes, it becomes a no-brainer issue.

If we really are serious about tackling illegal immigration, we need to go after the Americans who are hiring them.

If there are no jobs for illegal aliens -- they simply will not come.

Texas is a big state -- depending on how many of your neighbors feel the way you do, it won't take long for 1/2 million to go 3rd party.

Nobody thought Gore would lose Tennessee (and Arkansas), but he did.

The thing that gets me about homeland secutiry and those who say without GWB we are all in danger. The way the southern border is you could and they do drive 18 wheelers full of people illegally up from Mexico. What to stop the next one being loaded with terrorists and dirty bombs. The southern border is wide open, and there is nothing on the table to secure it.

I can attest that there are a large number of people very unhappy with GWB over this amnesty here in TX. He might want to pay attention to that.

With regard to the border, I don't think anyone could argue the GWB administration is our security saviour. The fact is, with the possible exceptions of the 1846 Mexican War and the 1913 Punitive Expeditions, no administration has ever paid any attention to it.

In fact, as an aside - the Gunsmoke episode this morning (from 1961) had Matt Dillon down near the Mexican border (all the way from Kansas ??) chasing a renegade band of Comancheros.

Lip service is all that was ever rendered at best.

Growing up in San Antonio is the early '50s, there was a massive illegal alien problem then and nothing has changed.

And you're also right that 9-11 made border security an imperative, but instead of responding to the threat, GWB proposes Amnesty (again).

I'm outraged.

And you're also correct to be concerned about trucks. I've been to Brownsville, Juarez, Piedras Negras and a bunch of other places, and I was astounded at the number of trucks crossing the border carte blanche. But, then I went to Laredo for the first time, I didn't know there were so many Semis in the world -- and that was BEFORE NAFTA. I can't even imgaine what it must be like now.

So, it's true GWB has not responded effectively to the crisis at our borders, and Amnesty is an insult to Americans and to legal immigrants who play by the rules.

All I can say in his defense, is he inherited a horrible situation that had been ignored officially for decades.

And, lastly, my belief that as bad as he has been in this specific regard, any Dem with a chance of winning will not only do less -- they'll tear down the border altogether.

If you think HIS job, is restricted to the things YOU think are important, you are so self-absorbed that you wouldn't GET it, even if IT smacked you in the face.

Hmmm... It seems you can't meet the challenge.

I'm done with you.

You insult others with abandon and imagine yourself to be superior to those who disagree with you.

When facts are on my side, and somebody tries to argue from a position of ignorance, I am superior to them... Because I'm right.

How do I say this, you ask? Well, since this seems to be the thread where words must be defined, here goes:

Main Entry: [1]su·pe·ri·or
Pronunciation:
su-'pir-E-&r
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French superieur, from Latin superior, comparative of superus upper, from super over, above —more at OVER
Date: 14th century 1 : situated higher up : UPPER
2 : of higher rank, quality, or importance
3 : courageously or serenely indifferent (as to something painful or disheartening) 4 a : greater in quantity or numbers b : excellent of its kind : BETTER 5 : being a superscript
6 a : of an animal structure : situated above or anterior or dorsal to another and especially a corresponding part b : of a plant structure : situated above or near the top of another part: as (1) : of a calyx : attached to and apparently arising from the ovary (2) : of an ovary : free from the calyx or other floral envelope
7 : more comprehensive

Hmmm.... Since none of the Bush die-hards (who will look the other way as we discuss the elimination of our national sovereignty) want to talk about facts, historical inferences (like in countries where this idiocy has been attempted) or common-sense, it therefore infers that, compared to you, I am superior. By definition. It's a matter of fact, not ego.

You are, if nothing else, amusing.

I do enjoy watching the young and pompous make public fools of themselves, as you have here.

Give me a ring when you grow up, and begin to understand how little you really know.

I used to support Bush. Now, I'm not so naive. Which brings us to the first quote that applies:

"The foolish and the dead alone never change their opinions."
--James Russell Lowell

I challenge you to actually think about your stance is, and who you're supporting... But you can't be bothered to think...

"Five percent of the people think; ten percent of the people think they think; and the other eighty-five percent would rather die than think."
--Thomas Edison

And then, in the mistaken belief that age is the only way to a higher level of wisdom:

There's no fool like an old fool.
--Unknown

I stand by the Constitution of the United States of America. I will not support any man who cannot or will not support it. And I will not support ANY man who endangers the well-being of the United States of America.

No patriotic person could.

The Palestinian Authority wants the U.S. to elect a Democrat.

I don't think they would care really. Both the Democratic Party candidates, and President Bush intends on creating a PLO state, and all candidates, Bush and the Democrats, object to Israeli "Settlements".

In addition, all refuse to follow the law and move the US Embassy to Jerusalem, Israel's capital.

Don't misquote me, boy.

I didn't say that age was the only way to a higher level of wisdom........but you'll never get there with your arrogance. The only way to true wisdom is through the fear of the Lord, and a realization that we are nothing, except through the grace of God.

You will only begin to learn what is really important when you stop imagining you have all the answers. And with your ego, only God himself can make that happen......and I would pray for that if I were you....

I pray that when you get out of school, you have some experiences that wake you up.......

(And about your accusation that I don't think........that's funny!)
