I love Michelle and if I wasn't married I wouldn't mind having her spank me, but she's very wrong on this.

She's a woman who loves security (as most do) but the Patriot Act is illegal. No matter how good an idea everyone thinks it is, we're not a nation of "good ideas". We're nation of laws. We're not a nation where if you work for the government you're allowed to rob people's houses, hack thier computers or stick your fat face into their finances because they deposited too much money.

The USA PATRIOT ACT is not patriotic in any way shape or form, it's a stinky turd pile.

I hate to point this out, but that was being done before 9-11. The PATRIOT Act has nothing to do with that.
