Putting posts #39 and #40 together leads me to think that Mr. Dean is standing on a box! (Like at the Bill Bradley endorsement)

Drudge has been wrong before. I see no reason to bash Judith Dean. Even if she had performed abortions, which I doubt, it's not as significant as the fact that Dean himself is strongly pro-abortion.

The operative word in Drudge's headline, so far, is "Absent." So what? She has work to do and a son to take care of.

This might be the breaking development, just in time to stop Dean in his tracks. Predictions? How many abortions have been performed?

Ummmmm....

Anyone who cares in the slightest how many abortions Dean's wife may or may not have performed wasn't voting for Dean in the first place.

Dr. Judith Steinberg Dean, M.D., the Vermont internist married to the state's former governor and presidential candidate Howard Dean, has been MIA on her husband's campaign trail, and is bold in her assertion that she will remain almost as absent from his presidency and instead keep up her full-time medical practice.

I think the woman knows old Howie has no chance so she's sticking with her day job.

No, no, no, no, no. We don't want Dean stopped now. Go, Howard, go.

What a classy group.

Let me see... how many of the folks around here have a gorgeous wife--not gorgeous to you, but to everyone else? How many of you have a successful wife who is a Dr? How many of you have wives that stick their noses in your job; that show up and "campaign" for your promotion at work?

If you do, then go ahead and voice an opinion on her looks and talents. I guess you can throw stones.

Many of you seem to have a fear of another Hillary. Mrs. Dean ain't Hillary. She has more brains than her husband. And she is using them by staying away from this train wreck.

Until she goes out on the campaign trail or announces that the Dean Administration will be a "co-presidency" I say she is off limits.

WHERE IS MRS. DEAN?

my guess is that she's either locked in the basement or embedded in that new slab in the backyard. /sarcasm

I think it will be very rich indeed when Dean's patients start talking.

Good advice.

I wish would bring this up after dean gets the nod. If dean wins the primaries then bush wins big, but if someone like clark or kerry or any of the other dwarves get in the race is much closer.

Let dean win, then drop the baggage. We shouldn't be applauding this, if drudge spills the beans.

Judith! will announce her run for the Senate from the great state of New York.

Dr. Demento the best nickname I've seen for him yet.

The wife's smile strikes me as real. Next to her, his smile is so blatantly plastic that it's frightening. Some wise handler probably told him he looks more credible without her nearby.
