Pfft. I was pointing out the hypocrisy of his position the moment he decided going for a lawyer was better for him than getting out the truth.

I took orders from the "Ditto-Drone" ahead of me and I ordered the "Ditto-Drone" behind me to ignore your rantings!
We all had a great "cackle" thinking how miserable you must be from noon to three, Mondays through Friday. HeHeHeHe!
To: CWOJackson
The ones in the cells have been convicted of a crime. As far as I know Mr. Limbaugh hasn't.
And should Rush wind up being indicted and convicted, can I assume you'll be consistent and rant that we need to throw away the key with this "druggie?"
To: RightOnline
Let me ask you a question, in all seriousness. Do you not see a difference between those who use illegal drugs for "recreational" purposes (often getting hooked, then committing crimes to feed their habits) and those like Rush who inadvertently become addicted to legal narcotics dispensed by doctors for legitimate pain management?
And Rush possibly might have committed crimes as well. Here's a newsflash, if - IF! - Rush did what he is accused of doing, he committed a crime to get his drugs. I don't know if you know this, but doctors don't prescribe thousands upon thousands of the same painkiller to their patient. <

what is that picture?
..Nah, I cut my toenails from 12-3... or sometimes just chew on a Partagas, or the like...
As a matter of fact, a friend gave me a box of genuine CUBAN Cohibas, for Christmas. I know that I am going to break the law, but I intend to smoke one tomorrow afternoon, during that time! I may even have two! (Nah, I don't want to break the law twice in one day)
Sometimes you just have to push the envelope!

A criminal is one who personally steals his drugs from a source.
Those who buy from such criminal only have "addictive personalities" needing treatment at a spa.

He ought to check out the FR... oh, liberals only stick to liberal rags....
I sense Rush is afraid. It makes me sad.

And, far frolm being part of a small group, whom you distain, out of extreme hubris, Dane and I and the majority of FREEPERS
Coulda fooled me. Dane and the authoritarian crowd regularly make asses of themselves on any libertarian-themed thread, which they can't resist supplying 80% of the posts for.
You're not the arbiter of what is and isn't conservative.
To: suspects
Which means, my fellow conservatives, that Rush Limbaugh is....? A drug addict, a recovering drug addict, which he now admits publicly.
I'm sorry, I can't seem to hear you. It must be that deafening silence again.
No, it's your closed ears.
To: Cultural Jihad
Using the time-untested 'principles' as espoused by libertarian materialist ideologues, one would say that the only reason Mr. Graham is being critical of Rush is because he envies his ratings, and has some selfish self-interest in tearing down Rush, such as trying to replace him in the ratings and thereby command a higher advertising sales revenue.
Do you even know what you're writing about anymore? Or do you just post random words? Good lord, you're screwed in the head.

Only if they're white, rich, and conservative.
Oh, did I just say that aloud? Oops.

And should Rush wind up being indicted and convicted . . .. . . he should, and quite likely will, pay an appropriate penalty. And when he gets out of prison (unless he receives a suspended sentence--which is possible) he's welcome to come back to the mic and continue his show.
Having been punished and shamed appropriately, he's less likely to repeat. That makes great good sense for him and society. It's all about ensuring that he accepts personal responsibility.
Why is that so hard for you to understand? Is it because it makes sense?
Still, Team Clinton's crimes were far, far worse. Each of them should be spending 30 years in prison, hard time.

Rush became "silent" once he became addicted himself. Before 95 or so he was promoting prosecution of affluent white folks like himself who beat the system. That says lots about his character, or lack thereof. Can you provide any proof, such as quotes, dates, names, etc. that Rush might have made.
Or did you just "hear it someplace" that Rush wanted all white people jailed an prosecuted, or whatever it was you claimed.

How about this?
I've been a conservative ever since I learned to think in my late 20s.
I am also a widowed mother of 4 sons. Raising 4 boys alone the last 6 years in this country full of drug and alcohol and party attitude temptations is no picnic. Drug use and abuse is a major struggle within my family, and a battle I fight with my kids daily.
I am not about to condemn Rush for falling into a trap, especially since I know he tried to get out a few times on his own. I am not going to point fingers at anyone. My own house is not in order.
Do you think conservatives are immune to trouble? Immune to pain and heartache and cultural pressures to steal our kids and mates?
I just sent my own 13 yr old out of the house a few hours ago, and told him to stay out. Tough love on Christmas Eve.
Real fun.
I really want to blast away at Rush right now, don't I?
No thanks.

Exactly who has he hurt? Other than himself and maybe his family? I'm talking in a criminal way.
