Yes, there is always something impressive about people who desire to live by principle and in a drug free society.

Those are not mutually exclusive traits! You admit to drinking, so you also admit that you do not live in a drug free society. Your drug-of-choice, alcoholic beverages, have been re-legalized. Mine will be, too! It already has been made so, in many places, and not just for 'medicinal' purposes. That really bugs you. I can rejoice, in a little victory, here and there... and I will...

You should think more before you make your smart-ass replies. they are stale, and illogical, to say the least.

We (my friends and associates) live by principle, but choose to disobey some of the rules of your 'society'. I'll bet you never break any laws, do you?

But they are if you're speaking about the military community, which you were. Folks in the military live by a set of core values, which includes not using illegal drugs. Of course you always get one who will but they're quickly removed from the community.

Bummer...I know. Damn military people and their core values.
