I think he's funny, but not so much on SNL. (because the writing sucks)

The horribly unfunny Tina Fey started as a writer for SNL in 1997, and a few years later became head writer.

For most viewers, this timeframe marks SNL's transition from "not funny anymore" to "completely unwatchable."

Some of their skits nowadays must be inside jokes or something. I just don't get them or can't figure out what the point of the skit is. I use to wonder why all the funny people were leaving SNL, but now it's obvious that they abandoned ship when they saw it sinking. (and i don't blame them, it was a good call on their part)
