Suppose God thinks, "I want faith not to be a work, and I want people to choose to accept my free grace."

Is it possible that God CANNOT do that, if God wants to do that?

Eh? Faith isn't a work (of man, at any rate), and everyone He wants to accept free grace, does. Grace procures acceptance, and it procures cooperation. Like my quotation says.
