Don't expect too many apologies from the Terri-ites.
I still don't know what to think about the case, but I can say that those threads were characterized
by a rampant hysteria seldom equaled here.
Anyone who dared even question the Save-Terri position was treated as if he were Dr Kevorkian posting from his prison cell.

Don't expect too many apologies from the Terri-ites. They have no reason to apologize.
Read this post again. Normally A Lurker is aplogizing for HIS behavior on the Schiavo threads. The "Terri-ites" have been quite polite, considering NAL was barraging their threads with rude, offensive comments.
HE is apologizing to THEM. And rightly so.

I'm not looking for apologies from anyone. i'm just giving a few. (But you're fully right about MOST of that group.)

You are right, there is a touch of hysteria here, but it is a justified hysteria.
No one is trying to take a way your 'right-to-die' except those who support Michael Schiavo. Their misuse of laws and protections that are in place to protect people's rights will do way more damage to your cause than those who advocate life extension at all costs. . Their misuse of the system will result in more red tape and more court interferences and one day may actually prevent people from opting out of medical interventions.
Americans are too easily sucked in by anyone who seems to be taking the same position that they are taking. We all need to be a little more discriminating about who we choose as the leaders of our advocacy.
