I have always been told that a judgement in Texas isn't worth the paper it is written on. Our law is based on Spanish Law rather than English common law, and protects debtors, etc. It is almost impossible to enforce....

I heard tale that when Judge Roy Bean was dispensing justice out your way judgements were worth at least a bullet, if not a rope.
