The passage in Exodus was quoted by Christian writers, as was the one in Isaiah. The writers MOST quotes by the founders were Locke, Blackstone, Montesquieu, Puffendorf - ALL christians. Furthermore 95% of the 250 founding fathers were Christians. Our founders relied upon God (which God is that? - Krishna?) to win the Revolutionary War - care to dispute that? Read the Declaration of Independence ("with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence..."), or Washington's Farewell address, or Franklin's speech at the Constitutional convention (not bad for a deist!!) - they prove it beyond doubt. I can quote both Washington's speech and Franklin's if you like. Do you have anything to dispute these FACTS?
Our founders were also influenced by the puritans (calvinists! - egad!) who gave them the ideas of (1) Christian self-government (I'll be you don't even know what that is!), and (2) depravity of mankind - of which they wrote about over and over and over again. These are purely Christiain doctrines, and they were both incorporated into our republican system. Do I have to spell out in what ways?
You are out of your league here. You should choose your battle more carefully.
