Thank God we have a majority on the SC to stop them. All these boneheads talking about how Bush is no different than Gore are crying crocodile tears. If Gore got to nominate 2 SC Justices with a Dem Senate behind him, we'd have another 40 years of wandering in the desert.

I'm not sure I'd call it a majority (depending on the definition of "we"), though I would say that we have 2 conservatives and 3 or 4 moderates on the court. But its close enough that if Gore got his hands on the court, we'd have more than 40 years of wandering - we'd have a civil war in 10-20 years - that is, if we weren't already occupied.
