I see it this way, of our two major parties, one party or the other has control over the House, the Senate and the Presidency. The party that is in control sets the agenda, decides what legislation goes to the floor and or is passed, which bills get signed into law, which treaties are executed and which judges get advanced and confirmed. At this moment in time, I do not wish any corrupt socialist America hating Democrat to have any say at all in any of these matters so important to our national sovereignty or our freedom. I see the Democrat Party as the party of evil. I want it totally destroyed and a new party (hopefully not as evil and not as far left) formed to take its place.

I have no problem with that whatsoever - I just want to make sure that we don't forget those who are destroying the GOP from within... Just my two cents, for what it's worth (not counting inflation)

"hopefully not as evil and not as far left"

You repeat yourself. But for both repetitions, could we strike the word 'as'?

#1. God, for whatever reason, allowed the U.S. to escape the folly of having Al Gore as President. How else can one explain having G.W. Bush instead of Al Gore during another test of our country's resolve to be the leader of the free world?

#2. Ayn Rand was right, for the most part. Compare her writings to what the Democratic Party stands for. (she still missed the mark in her atheism, though)

I find it interesting to note that the Democratic Party is Socialist in everything but name, which is a far cry from what they were. To my mind, the Republican Party is now very much what the old Southern Democrats used to be...until their party was hijacked by Communists, atheists and Socialists.
