Very well said. This is why I advocate not only voting for the Republicans, but to make them understand why we're voting for them. Write to them often. Call them at their offices. Visit with them personally. Make sure they understand completely why we choose them over the leftist Democrats and what we expect them to do when they take office. And more than that. Get involved in the local campaigns and local party activities. Seek out and promote the very best new conservative blood we can find and get them voted into any elected office we can. Keep pushing and promoting them up the ladders while bringing new conservative blood in. And when you do that for a good 15 or 20 years, and they still keep proposing and voting for more big-government socialism, and they still keep flushing away money on pork, and they still keep voting to subjugate legitimate rights, and they still ignore the Constitution, and they still expand the government beyond even the most outrageous bounds.. then what?
Vote for 'em some more?
