Jim, I agree with you on almost all you say.

Re: Democrats - The Democratic party is indeed public enemy #1. There are, however, individual democrats, even in office, that are
...decent people
...have almost the same feelings you have about their own party
...support the Constitution and the Bill of Rights
...and are fighting the same fight you do from within the Democratic party.

What about them?

I think you are naive. Such people CHOOSE to identify themselves with a party whose platform vocally supports all the evil that Jimrob listed. Why? Because they are evil, too. I don't want that to be the case, but I see no other rational interpretation.

When nip comes to tuck, Hillary will twist the screws and force them to vote along party lines, particularly when it comes to judges.

A moderate Republican is always a better bet than a moderate Democrat.

Not to worry ... the most seasoned, if not influential, of the GOP leadership is never so vindictive, petty or small that they fail to recognize the sort of Democrat who "consistently and courageously fought for his principles ... his commitment to excellence in public policy and his devotion to public service serv[ing] as an inspiration to all Americans." .

I'm talking about the Democrat Party machine, its leadership, its major candidates and its official party platform. I believe the individual people involved have been misled through propaganda and socialist dogma, ie, brainwashed from an early age (government schools breed good little socialist workers).
