You raise a good point. However, FR isn't a government, either ;0)
Never said it was.
However, in name and mission statement, FR's goal is to promote republicanism, is it not? Seems a fair assumption that members generally subscribe to those goals.
Isn't it desirable if, in pursit of those goals, members conduct themselves in accordance with the manner they expect our republican government to be conducted?
