The above is in response to the recent attacks on my character, my honesty and my devotion to principle. If anyone here really believes that I am dishonest, disloyal or unprincipled, then I wish you would resign from this website and leave us be.

I intend to use the Free Republic website to advance the causes of freedom and Liberty. I love my country dearly and do not wish to see it destroyed by any enemy, foreign or domestic, and this includes terrorists, socialists, communists, anarchists, nazis, liberals, democrats or anyone else.

Jim, I don't know who would seriously question your character and convictions. Anyone who has been around here for very long knows where you stand. I salute you. You are THE example of what patriotism looks like. It is not an overstatement to say that to most of us, you are a hero.

Your comments are precisely what I believe. The Democrats, lacking any practical ideology, now have nothing to offer the country but 1) hatred of Republicans (conservatives, people of faith, and particularly of George W. Bush), 2) takin more of our money to entrench them in power, and 3) surrendering on the War on Terror. They need to be defeated at all costs.

Agree with all you said Jim and salute you for it. Things haven't changed all that much since the days of Whittaker Chambers - just the players have. Chambers identified the batttle as godless communism versus God and our Republic. It was so then and it remains so now.

I completely support your position. It mirrors mine. It was why I felt it so important to get a Republican elected to the Governor's office in California, even if Arnold wasn't the most absolutely perfect candidate. It does put a roadblock in the way of Hill and Bill.
