As I see it, the mods were, indeed, a bit overzealous at the beginning and for a while after. But on today's FR, the Mods seem much more reasonable, IMHO. Therefore, the originating complains about the AdminMods has been rectified, give or take a few.

And being fair here, I agree.

There was a point not too long ago where I didn't care if I ever came back or if I was banned. For a time, it was clear that there were internal problems and moderators with agendas.

That being said, I agree, it has improved......

Somehow, I avoided being banned through that time. I don't know how, though, 'cause I really do fly off the handle sometimes...

But I don't get into the flame wars like some do. And I don't have any friends here, even though I've been here for so long.

I just appreciate a forum to interject into whenever I have something to say. Living in Blue country, that alone is worth its weight in gold!

I find that if I present an opinion well, it gets heard, and I see results later on. Almost like a wish list. The things I want accomplished eventually find their way into the mainstream, such as what I mentioned in my above post.

And for that, I am eternally grateful to FreeRepublic.com and to the Robinson family for providing a forum for giving me a world-wide voice.

Now, if I could just get something done around this house!
