Yet I’m supposed to accept your earlier implication. That’s rich.

Look, the majority of my adult life has been on the darker side. I was a hard-core atheist, and, though I didn’t realize the difference between liberalism and conservatism, I was solidly a liberal on social issues. I rejected the idea of a God and any notion of spirituality on my own and happily followed others who believed as I did.

The foundation of that thinking was the Bible was nothing but fairy tales, myths written by men, restrictive on our rights and choices. We were so much more enlightened than those like the Moral Majority. I trusted the “authorities” who were (supposedly) fighting for my rights, (supposedly) backed up by those "educated elitists" and, unfortunately for me and so many others blinded by our own selfishness, backed up by the Supreme Court.

One day, I exercised my “right to Choice,“ and was slammed in the face by the Truth. I was shook to the core. I did not understand how I could have been so blind so I applied something I hadn’t much before: critical thinking. And lo, and behold, I found out the Right was actually telling the truth, and the Left had lied through their teeth to me. 12 years later, I found God and His forgiveness through Christ on the Cross.

I also suffer from clinical depression and other psychological problems, results from my “choice” exposing another lie of the Left that abortion is “safe” physically and psychologically. It took 18 months to be able to get back to fulltime work after a serious breakdown. Thankfully, it’s God’s healing that is so instrumental in conquering the illness and in ways that protected my rights and my job. His hand in it all was very strong and evident to others as well as myself during that time.

So now show me just where God is appalled at being part of the political process. I am not and will not be a “Sunday Christian.” God is in every detail of my life, most definitely in politics and the issues. Because it’s through Him and His Word where I find my guidance (which apparently is where the Founding Fathers found theirs when building this great country.) If people would follow His Word and His lead, they would be protected from the traps out there and avoid so much pain and misery. God wants life for us, He wants us to have Freedom, not death and enslavement; if the policies of this country leans towards death and traps one physically or psychologically, then you can bet He excepts us to fight those policies.

When Man sets the standards, those standards change, usually for the worse. God’s standards doesn’t change, so electing a President who is true to God is one who will stand firm on his policies and decisions. That’s what so many of us see in George Bush. If that’s what you consider a neocon, so be it. But then your definition of a neocon would also apply to the Founding Fathers.

I see you joined FR right after 9/11. Why would that be? Like so many, were you suddenly aware of the distinct possibility of Good and Evil, of Moral Absolutes? That maybe, just maybe, Moral Relativism is possibly a little dangerous and wrong for man? The Steamroller of the Left is destroying this country with socialism, communism, it would not hesitate to give up our sovereignty in a moment. You may want to think hard about just who has this country’s interest at heart.

Your points are well taken and I actually do like GWB personally and think he has a good heart and is a great man. I unfortunately think (yes, using critical thinking...like a lot of other people) that he is in WAY over his head and therefore we need a change.... especially with his immediate advisors.

To who? Nader?! He doesn’t have a prayer in winning. So that leaves John Kerry. If -IF - he were trustworthy in the first place, what would his administration do? Oh, oh, that’s right. “Global Test.” And then send our military out wearing blue bonnets and leave them at the mercy of the World Court. No thank you.

You made the original comment that If Bush wins this race, it will be due to the hand of God. There will be no other explanation with all the blatant In-Your-Face fraud. ..Sorry thats just plain BUNK and its offensive.

As dawn52 stated above: "The dems have thrown everything at him from all angles. They've spent millions of dollars trying to defeat him. Kerry and Edwards lies go unchallenged. The MSM is out to get him and has resorted to forgeries and trickery." I would also add MASSIVE voter fraud.

Everything is stacked against us. We can do our best by giving to grass-root causes, $10 here, $25 there, dig and probe and drag the truth out of the distortions and lies of the MSM (blessings to all those in the Pajama Brigade), and have little ol’ FoxNews to counter the MSM onslaught. The voter fraud, however, is overwhelming - may it backfire on them terribly. We try to do this with truth, with hard-earned money made honestly, and by following the laws as they are written. If you can’t see that a win against all these odds may be because of Providence, if you’re offended by our glorifying God for it, oh well. Nothing else to say about that.

Later you imply that my Christianity only shows up on Sundays when you have no knowledge of who I am or what I do or how I conduct my life.

Judging by how you say you live your life now, perhaps you just wrote before you thought.

You’re right, I was implying that. You know why I say that? It’s based on my observations and experiences of the “Sunday Christians” in my life. They’ve got this silly notion that the separation of church and state means we’re not allowed to bring God into the public forum.

My original point was this: Hey everybody!! STOP HATING!!! and START THINKING!! and when one or the other side loses...accept it until the next election and try again!!

I hate Evil. How about you? So forget about it, our country is at a critical point in history. No way do we give in now.

lastly: No silly political party has a monopoly with GOD.

The lefty-liberals reject God and his precepts. We choose to trust and follow Him. Their lose, not ours.

I would say that 2008 is now guaranteed to be the worst race in American history. Everything that the Dems did this year, will be utilized in the next race. 1000s of fraud votes will be cooked up by Repubulicans in the next race. This is all sad....I'd rather see a honest race where Bushes loses....than see a totally corrupt situation that is developing.

"Time for the GOP to throw this in the courts because thie
disenfranchises all the legitimite voters in this state":

OUTRAGEOUS! We're not going to take this! Providing it's
close, at least GWB will stay on as President while all the lawsuits proceed ----- WON'T HE?????????

God's healing has been so effective, I don't need to take them anymore. But I do thank you for your "heart-felt" suggestion and concern.

"GWB's mafia?" May I prescribe a good dose of "George W Bush On God and Country edited by Thomas M. Freiling?

Also a glance at Proverbs 6:16-19:

These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto Him.
A proud look, a lying tongue and hands that shed innocent blood,
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations; feet that be swift in running to mischief,
A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

* * *

All men leave trails. We must examine the spore. God bless, schmidt.

You are wrong. I forgot to put in that GWB's mafia are THE ANGELS. Big omission on my part. I didn't pick the scripture for YOU, schmidt. I picked it for John Foney sKerry, FYI. We aren't ALL cutthroats, so don't get your
dander up. Take care!

This didn't post the first time - awful time lag if duplicates!

Click "Cutting to the Quick: The mother, a soldier who died in Iraq talks about John Kerry" from The Weekly Standard:

Please read the entire item, then draw your own conclusions.

Her son did not die "for nothing", may God give her peace.

Typical. Straight out of the liberal handbook - if you can't argue with substance, then go for the ad hominem attacks.

Take care.
