It was a whole world under glass, he'd never seen anything like it.
He reached out a finger to touch the surrealy swirling surface of the glass when someone shouted.
"You mustn't touch the orb!"
Too late, his finger brushed the surprisingly soft boundary of the glass orb, and all hell broke loose.
The world felt like it turned inside out and wrung like a wet rag as the echoes of the guide clamored off the walls.
Finally, there was a series of violent bumps and shakes and then stillness.
He was alone, in a dense carpet of flowers.
Ahead there was a small chateau.

A Frenchman has torn down part of an ancient Inca wall to build a hotel in Cusco, capital of the Inca empire, that he ironically wanted to call 'The Archeologist'. The El Comercio newspaper on Sunday said he was planning to slap up a concrete wall in place of the large, finely cut bricks that had been there since before the 16th century Spanish conquest. You know I read that story early this morning. How did he ever get so far as to actually tear down the wall, I wonder? What a complete idiot.
You know, if I had my life to live over, that would be something I'd love to see. I have been fascinated it my whole life.

Possibly.
And taglines can be a pain.
But sometimes it's humorous to read an inapropriate tagline with a thread subject..

Hot Artichoke Dip
Frozen artichoke hearts are a great convenience food. Keep a box or two in your freezer for quick frittatas, for stir-fries or for this classic American party dip.
Ingredients
1 9-ounce (270-g) package frozen artichoke hearts, thawed, drained and finely chopped
1/2 cup (4 oz/120 g) part-skim ricotta cheese
1/2 cup (4 oz/ 120 g) fat-free or low-fat mayonnaise
1/2 cup (4 oz/120 g) fat-free or reduced-fat sour cream
1 tablespoon dry sherry
1 8-ounce (240-g) can sliced water chestnuts, drained and chopped
3/4 cup (3 oz/90 g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 - small diced roasted red pepper (jarred)
4 - green onions, minced
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt or seasoned salt
Preparation - Estimated cooking time: 30-60 minutes -
1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 1-quart (1-liter) gratin dish with cooking spray.
2 Place chopped artichokes in a 1-quart glass bowl. Add 1 tablespoon water. Cover and microwave at HIGH power for 3 minutes. Drain in a colander, shaking to remove excess water. (Or, cook artichokes in boiling water for 1 minute, drain well and transfer to a bowl.) Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread evenly in the prepared gratin dish.
3 Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for 10 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

Here's another one:
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/nm/20030916/od_uk_nm/oukoe_odd_canada_condoms&e=2 Bad taste condom order cancelled
WINNIPEG, Manitoba (Reuters) - A plan to provide prison inmates with a bulk order of fruit-Flavoured condoms was in bad taste and has been cancelled, the cabinet minister in charge of prisons in the Canadian prairie province of Manitoba has told the Winnipeg Free Press newspaper.
Prison bureaucrats issued a tender for C$8,400 (3,640 pounds) in strawberry, banana and vanilla condoms for 10 jails -- but withdrew the offer when a reporter asked about it, the article in Tuesday's Free Press said.
"Like most Manitobans, when I first heard of this I had some serious questions about this flavour issue. I had to get my head around it," Gord Mackintosh, Manitoba's attorney general, was quoted as saying.
Manitoba prisons have distributed condoms to inmates since 1998 to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases, but do not encourage "at-risk behaviour," Mackintosh was quoted as saying, noting that senior government officials did not know about the Flavoured-condom order.
