It won't be light packing if I stowaway in your big suitcase..
But then again, the guys at the luggage scanner would wonder who the heck is waving at them.

Greek Islands/Holy Land
It was the birthplace of King Tutankhamun over three thousand years ago; the birthplace of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam; the birthplace of Western Civilization; and the birthplace of democracy. (Its also the birthplace of oil embargos, gyro sandwiches, baklava, and thick Turkish coffee.) But theres a very hip and very worldly lust for life here that perhaps your history books didnt cover. See it for yourself.
I've not seen this part of the world...

Al has a cold too, and I'm hoping I don't get it, but I don't feel great.. :( Start taking lots of Vitamin C and cold meds.
It's not too bad. I've learned to jump on these colds when they first start and that when they aren't too bad. The preasure in my head is starting to go away ..

My next door neighbor always wanted to take me to Greece.... without Al or his wife or course..
I can guarantee I would have lost weight running, but also know I would have had a ball..lol. ;)
He was always trying to ply me with Ouzo and Metaxa (sp)?..
To: Darksheare
LOL... I'll pack really light and try to fit you in.. But.............you must behave.. No shenanagins, hear? ;)
To: Mo1
Ohhhhh I don't take any of that stuff.. I think it just prolongs the darned thing.. Get it over with.. It's going to take 14 days anyway if it's a virus.
Course I don't have any little kids to care for in the meantime..(other than Al..) So I know you don't have it that easy..
To: grannie9
OOoh, goody.

Turkish coffee. n. A thick, black, sweetened coffee, usually served at gunpoint...
To: null and void
Nully, they can enjoy MY thick black sickeningly sweet coffee not served at gunpoint.

You're the only one I know who serves it on a rack...
To: null and void
Well, it didn't need to be served at gunpoint... *positive point, right?*
And it was truly appreciated!
At least, that's what they told me.
*pouts*
I sold the rack, and am afeared that Sis bought it.
The buyer told me that shipping would not be a problem.
/ bad joke.

On our first Eurail trip to Vienna, I got the bright idea that I'd prep myself by ordering an expresso...it took another three cups of hot water before I could stomach the stuff.
Our cabinmates found my wussiness highly amusing - but that crap could have been sliced and served.

but that ... could have been sliced and served. I used to have an Ethiopian* roommate. The Ethiopians are the only people I know who actually make coffeee cake WITH coffee!

Mrs.Olsen's finest is not a world-wide commodity, sadly.
