aaacckkk... that's what makes them freaking roofers. The house I lived in in Chehalis WA had a big commercial building across the alley being reroofed for weeks - starting early every morning. It was almost enough to make me miss the woodpeckers at dawn on my metal roof in Mossyrock.
To: ValerieUSA
The house sat with half the roof off most of the week. Work on it during the week, when decent people are already up? Noooooo!!!!

Pretty flowers to start the weekend - thank you.
7am on a Saturday! I'm impressed with their snap, if not their thoughtfullness Nully. I don't think there's a crew in this state that would be sober and on the job by 7 on a Saturday morning.
Cheers everyone.

Did the freaking roofers have to start on the house next door at 7 am on a SATURDAY?!?!!? Look on the bright side. They will remove the old roof and vanish for 3 weeks, leaving your neighbor desperately trying to cover things with plastic sheeting.

Yes. Yes they did.
They were trying to give you an early try out for working 2 stories up with a nail gun.
Besides they were trying to show off their industriousness.

Sounds like you have moved on.
Most excellent.
And don't play with the handcuffs.......
The key might get lost.

No, I haven't moved on -- but I'll try. I have two pairs of handcuffs already - my husband was a cop. But I never play with them because I don't have the keys *L* Or a playmate...

Any idea why Threads 6 and 7 don't show up when I mash the DD thread on FR's splash page?
Cheers back there.
Here's a pic of last night's fire...

Yep - that fire is something else...scary stuff.
When I go to FR's homepage, scroll down to DD and mash it, the last thread that is posted is number 5. Six and seven do not show up for some reason...
