Well, I'm very impressed with Frodo's trip down south. It's about time we showed him some more Texas.

R: I thought the Win 94 was going to be for her birthday? I'll bet she could lever flip it on horseback.
To: Sam Cree
SC: that would be my thought too. West slopes and all. But Mulies have wanderlust so could be them too.
To: osagebowman
Mulies are pretty big aren't they? I've only ever seen whitetails, which is what lives in the East.

"I'll bet she could lever flip it on horseback. Like that guy in Army of Darkness?
I don't know if that would work with my Marlin 336 in .35.

SC: Don't know about the 'army of darkness', reference is to John Wayne in Roster Cogburn.
336 in .35 Rem is a great rifle, a lot more suitable for a scope than any of the Win levers. Recently scopes have more appeal to me, maybe its the bifocals. lol. But iron sights on the flinters. Tradition trumps common sense.

Not yet.
I'm thinking first thing tomorrow. Look it over once more when I'm not tired and hot and stupid. Or as stupid.

Well, Rosie. Okay. But, don't muddle over it. I won't! And if I can't sleep 'cause of the heat and thoughts running around my head, I may just get up and get it out of the way.
