I suspect you do not know what probably lead her to do that. Toby Keith, on his current tour, goes into a rant about Natalie before he plays "The Angry American". The rant is complete with fake pictures of the DC with Saddam Hussein on the big screens.

Ahhhhhhhh... This clears a lot up. Thank you.

Well I hope that some city somewhere makes a statement loud enough for everyone to hear. I thought Texas would get with the program but it seems a few folks showed up with signs. A pity.

How will they combine three part harmony, a fiddle and steel guitar with "Rock"?

Fascination with mere celebrity and celebrities is the least admirable characteristic of modern American life. That large numbers of people apparently give a rat's *ss about the uninformed opinions of an entertainer is a depressing thought.

GREAT POST! I don't understand why folks are so exercised about the Dixie Chicks, unless it is that they are disappointed that these girls aren't up to the standards of hero-worship that we are so wont to put on entertainers. Why is it a surprise that Natalie Maines is an air-headed bimbo? And you expected something else?

Don't think anyone is interested in hero-worshipping the Chix or any other entertainer. It's just they are a focal point for all many find wrong with the anti-war ranters. Also, getting celebrities to hear us once in a while is just fun.

They'll re-invent, dump the instruments, and just sing. Mebbe learn heavy metal guitar.

The soft-porn shot was a clear indicator that they are not 'country-music' people--they are strictly in it for the money.

"heavy metal guitar" lessons can be had from Lisa Marie Presley's bank. Uh, does anyone think she can sing? Sounds like shouting to me.

Vichy Chicks as in those "wonderful" French who supported Vichy France during WWII. In fact, I bet these Sluts could make a living in France.

Don't forget that Gnatalie had questions. Having questions is a good point and everything should have stopped until she got answers. Answers follow. 1. You're an airhead Gnatalie so don't even try to figure out what your questions are. 2. See Answer 1.

Just so you know, we're ashamed the President of the United States is from Texas

Just so you know, I am from Dixie, and I'm ashamed that someone might think that you reflect the views of those of us in Dixie.
