Sawyer: Fifteen little words do you wish you could take them back?
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Well, if the Blixie Chicks can't stand criticism, they shouldn't have done their criticizing.

Hey, I like(d?) some of their stuff too. And I understand the whole patriotism-country music connection. There's no question they will suffer with their audience, and I say good. I just think this horse has done been beat, that's all.

The sooner the sisters put a muzzle on that immature little brat the better off they will be... can't believe the ever gave her the rope they have. She is far far far too immature for the fame she has received and the sisters should know this, and have her contained.
You don't handle your "unanswered" questions by throwing out cheap pops and bashing the President of the United States on the eve of war. A war that was 100% in the right at every level. Even to this day she has not offered a true apology, just this stupid clintonesque white wash.

DOES ANYONE KNOW SOMEBODY IN THE WHITE HOUSE? That should be the night that Pres. Bush pre-empts the evening schedule and addresses the nation to declare victory!

Ditto that! LOL!

Sorry, you cannot "Support the troops" without supporting the Commander-In-Chief. I emphatically disagree.
When the U.S. military was sent to Haiti, and to Kosovo, I did NOT support the Commander-in-Chief, not even a little bit.
But I supported the troops. If anyone shot at any of them, I wanted our troops to shoot back, and take him out.
I wanted our troops to win, to have a total victory, and to come home.
Yet I never, at any second, supported Bill Clinton as Commander-in-Chief. My contempt for him and my disgust with his sending them on missions that I thought had nothing to do with U.S. security or U.S. interests was profound and complete.

Know your customers. When this broke, a FReeper posted a story about Michael Jordan not participating in some political demonstration/movement a few years ago when he was at the height (no pun intended) of his NIKE shoe endorsements. When asked about why he was abstaining from the whole thing, his pithy reply was, "Republicans wear shoes too."

Amen to that. Just by saying the you support the troops does not mean that you do. These chicks need Johnny Cochran to get them out of this one.

http://www.lipton.com The are still sponsoring the chix and still handing out lipton products at the concert.
The commercial is pulled (for now) but the concert remains. This interview was arranged because they concert starts next week. It was probably set WAAAAAAY in advance as part of the publicity push for the concert. (use the completly sold out concert to sell "stuff", cds, endorsements) Now the cd sales are fizzling, product owners are running away from the chix, and the chix franchise is loosing ecconomic viablity. "the other two" must be thrilled at their new role as human shields.

"Sorry, you cannot "Support the troops" without supporting the Commander-In-Chief"
I believe that most of the troops actually think they are doing the right thing over there. So, since the DC's disagree with the troops' own convictions on this, the DC's are really not in reality supporting the troops.
That goes for everyone on the Left who pretends to be supporting the troops.
Seems like regardless of all the dumb statements, Maines remains ashamed that her President is from Texas.

They spout many times that they had unanswered questions. Ms. Sawyer should have asked them what they did to try to get answers to their questions. Maybe, read a newspaper, or log onto the internet and search for answers, maybe even watch the news. Instead they go to a foreign country and bash our president. Now they replay the mantra: "let the inspections work." What a bunch of malarkey.

IF they support the Troops, then name what they have done for them! Exactly what have they physically done for the Troops? Have then sent Baby Wipes, socks, writing material, snacks? Have they done concerts for the Troops?
Don't just talk the talk, WALK THE WALK.

The celebs are correct in one thing only.... those who make physical or death threats against them are completely inappropriate and should be stopped. But to claim surprise because no one wants to even hear or see them anymore is hilarious to me. Do they really think have such egos to think they are persuasive? They need to at least be intelligent first. and factual.
