To my (apparently
out-of-step-with-the-mainstream) mind this whole thing is much ado about nothing.
Caring at all what a Dixie Chick thinks of my Presidents handling of the impending war is akin to placing an open physcis textbook in front of my dog and then becoming incensed by his annoyed bark.
(Although I must admit that I will be happy if the gals find themselves singing to only half-filled audiences from here on in ....It's the put your money where your mouth is thing ....)

I can overlook a lot of things in entertainers (we all do, Im sure.) But now that it's a time of war, times have changed. I guess the Ditzy Twits aren't up to speed yet! So we will have to school 'em!
BTW, I live in Oregon as well- Seaside. Do you know of any pro-troop rallies, Free Republic events in the Portland area? FRegards.

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I haven't heard of any activities in the Portland area. Have you checked the Oregon page? There might be some information there.
BTW, Seaside is a very lovely town.
